Following a breakout season from the New York Giants, where the squad put up its largest win total since 2016 and won a playoff game, NY made some moves in the offseason to bolster the roster. Here is some info to help you determine your New York Giants prop bets for the 2023 season.

On March 15, the Giants made a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders and acquired tight end and 2020 Pro Bowler Darren Waller. In Waller’s seven NFL seasons, the Georgia Tech product has posted two 1,000-yard seasons (2019 and 2020). However, Waller has only played a full season twice.

On top of the Waller acquisition, the Giants added linebacker help by signing Bobby Okereke, who was second on Indianapolis in tackles in 2022, to a four-year deal. This bet, available at NY sportsbook FanDuel, is an easy one to place. Last season, the first year under head coach Brian Daboll, the Giants posted a touchdown in every regular season contest. New York was fifth in the NFL in red zone efficiency, and quarterback Daniel Jones was responsible for 22 touchdowns.

With two new weapons in Waller and Hyatt, plus a second season under Daboll and offensive coordinator Mike Kafka, expect New York to boast a solid offense that will score at least a touchdown in every game.

The landscape of the NFC leads to a clear path for the Giants to notch a playoff spot for the second consecutive season. The winner of the NFC South and West will likely be the lone teams to clinch from those divisions. 

That leaves three wild card spots for the NFC East and North. With questions at quarterback for Washington, Green Bay, and inconsistency thus far from Justin Fields in Chicago, New York can claim its spot in the playoffs once again.
