Shortly after the conclusion of Super Bowl 58, we took a look at our New York teams’ odds to win the Super Bowl in 2025.

We all know that the NFL is a year-round sport, with the annual combine coming up next week. After that, we should start to see more odds for the draft as it pertains to the Buffalo Bills, New York Giants, and New York Jets.

But in the meantime, there are plenty of futures bets available for the season-ending awards for the 2024 season. We are going to take an early look at the 2024 NFL awards odds for players and coaches on the NY teams.

2024 NFL AWARDS ODDS: Josh Allen Among the Favorites

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has finished in the top-five in the MVP voting for two straight years and was runner-up in 2020.

Allen’s numbers in 2020 (4,544 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions) likely would’ve been enough to win the award last year. But while the QB going into his seventh season has seen his yardage totals remain around the same, his touchdown numbers went down and interception totals went up in 2023. Last year, Allen had 29 TDs against 18 INTs. Even when the Bills caught fire late in the season with a 6-1 finish, Allen’s splits weren’t much better (10 TDs to seven INTs).

But what makes Allen an intriguing MVP candidate is his ability to win and make plays when it counts.

Allen finished so high in the MVP voting because he ran for a career-high 15 touchdowns. While Lamar Jackson (the reigning MVP) is flashier, Allen gets it done. If he can cut down on the turnovers and lead the Bills to another AFC East title, the award could be his. At +800, Allen currently is second (behind Patrick Mahomes) in MVP odds at FanDuel.

Aaron Rodgers — Remember That Guy?

Odds are not yet posted for Comeback Player of the Year, but chances are that Aaron Rodgers will be the favorite. After all, the quarterback who played one series with the Jets in 2023 was the NFL MVP in both 2020 and ’21.

Much like they did in 2023, the Jets will be going all-in with Rodgers this coming season. That plan backfired with Rodgers’ injury in Week 1, as the Jets’ offense struggled mightily under Zach Wilson and a host of others under center. But New York finished 7-10 despite an offense that was mostly inept.

So what will Rodgers be worth — assuming his remains healthy?

The Jets have a difficult division to deal with, as Buffalo and Miami return as playoff teams from 2023. Who knows what to expect out of New England.

At FanDuel, Rodgers is the 13th-highest quarterback in the NFL MVP odds, sitting at +2500. Granted, there are some great players ahead of him. But if Rodgers can remain healthy — which is a big if since things often go awry with the Jets — it’s worth a shot at those odds.

Bounce-Back Seasons for Daboll or Saleh?

Jets head coach Robert Saleh has been put on notice. With the coach officially on the hot seat, time is running out for a big season. But with a healthy Rodgers, great things are possible. As we mentioned, the Jets were 7-10 last year with no quarterback to speak of. Even if Rodgers is worth three or four additional wins, that equals an easy playoff berth and possibly a division title in a difficult division.

Such a turnaround could earn Saleh strong consideration for Coach of the Year honors, where he’s currently seventh at +1600 (DraftKings).

Across town, the New York Giants’ Brian Daboll won the award in 2022, but things went sideways for Big Blue in 2023.

Now, they enter a new season that may not include running back Saquon Barkley and questions over the future prospects of quarterback Daniel Jones.

With the sixth pick in the NFL Draft, the Giants might either move up to take one of the top quarterbacks or grab one at No. 6 to serve as an insurance policy for Jones.

Regardless, after sticking with the main parts of the recipe that brought the Giants their first playoff win in over a decade, handing Jones a big contract backfired last year. It could take a while for NY to regain their footing in a difficult NFC East. Even at +4000, betting on Daboll to win this award for the second time in three years doesn’t feel like a good fit.
