Two recent juggernauts in the NFL, let alone the AFC, go head-to-head this weekend. The stakes of the matchup are the same as they have been in previous years, but the records are different than some might have thought prior to the season.

Both among the preseason Super Bowl favorites, now these teams will be saddled with a fourth loss and potentially falling two games back in their respective division.

The Buffalo Bills have won two of their last three, but that includes a four-point loss to the New England Patriots two weeks ago. The Bills enter this contest after taking down the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday Night Football behind a defensive performance that limited the run game.

Meanwhile, the Cincinnati Bengals are rebounding from a rough start to the 2023 campaign. Quarterback Joe Burrow was battling an injury and the offense just could not get going. Something in the last three weeks has clicked for the Bengals, though. Cincinnati has won three straight and four of the last five, which reaffirmed its position as one of the most talented teams in the AFC. The Bengals also most recently handed the San Francisco 49ers their third consecutive loss.

A rematch of last season’s second-round playoff matchup takes place on Sunday night, and here are the best prop bets to look at with the odds for Bills vs. Bengals.

BILLS VS. BENGALS ODDS: Cincinnati -2 (-112)

With a line that is less than three points, that means that picking the spread is nearly equivalent to picking a team straight up. With that, though, there are better odds to pick Bengals and the points rather than just betting Bengals moneyline.

The reason to consider picking Cincinnati is fairly simple: it’s about following the trends. In the first three games of the season, Cincinnati never covered the spread. In the last three games–all Bengals wins–Cincy has covered. Meanwhile, Buffalo has not covered any of its last four games. Betting is about trend-following, and there’s no reason to not continue that pursuit.

This is a Bengals offense that is clicking and seems completely healthy. Burrow, last time out, threw for 283 yards and three touchdowns while his receiver Ja’Marr Chase had 10 receptions for 100 yards and a score. Chase has had 100 yards in two of the last three games, and that includes a 192 yard performance against the Cardinals three weeks ago.

The addition at the trade deadline for Buffalo in defensive back Rasul Douglas will not be enough to stop this dynamic aerial attack. Take Cincinnati laying the points and these odds on DraftKings.

Bills vs. Bengals Props: Chase & Diggs Combine for 200+ Yards (+240)

FanDuel offers fun prop bets when offensive stars are going up against each other, and on Sunday night this is the most ideal bet to take. The two stud receivers in Ja’Marr Chase and Stefon Diggs can break out at any point, and to think with the lights shining bright that they won’t have a field day is malpractice.

Stefon Diggs has not reached the 100-yard mark in each of the last two games, but this season, Diggs has hit triple digits five times. Meanwhile, has eclipsed that mark on three different occasions in 2023. The Bengals and Bills are two teams that like to throw the ball. With Burrow slinging it for Cincinnati and Josh Allen tossing the ball around for Buffalo, Chase and Diggs will be their number one targets, respectively.

Expect this matchup to be a back-and-forth affair with the receivers dominating. Take this bet at these odds and watch greatness unfold while making good money.

Bills vs. Bengals OVER 48.5 (-115)

This bet is an easy one to take by just looking at the talent that each side boasts on offense. It’s very hard to bet against Joe Burrow and Josh Allen putting up points.

The Bills have posted at least 20 points in three of the last four matchups. On the other side, the Bengals have scored 30 points or more in two of the last three. Both offenses are clicking and scoring at will. No matter who the defense is, it’s fair to expect scoring in a primetime matchup.

With Stefon Diggs and Ja’Marr Chase rolling, take this bet on Caesars.
