The Buffalo Bills hold the shortest odds to be Super Bowl champions this season at all New York sportsbooks.

Despite a heartbreaking end to their playoff run last season, the Buffalo Bills head to training camp this week as leaders among the latest Super Bowl odds. Though the beloved western New York franchise has never won the Big Game, the team stands as the favorite heading into the 2022 NFL season.

Buffalo’s made three consecutive trips to the postseason and have made the playoffs in four of five years under head coach Sean McDermott. This successful run snapped a 17-year playoff drought for the western New York franchise, one that’s looking to return to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1993.

Sportsbooks throughout New York state and the U.S. place the Bills at the top of their Super Bowl odds board. Football analysts also hold Buffalo in high esteem heading into the season.

Bills Sit atop Latest Super Bowl Odds

The Bills sit atop the Super Bowl odds boards at sportsbooks throughout New York and the country because Buffalo sports the best roster in the NFL.

The team bring back key offensive pieces such as MVP favorite Josh Allen, Gabriel Davis, Stefon Diggs, and Dawson Knox. The Bills expect the return of perennial Pro Bowl defensive back Tre’Davious White from injury and added a former Super Bowl champion in Vonn Miller to boost their odds.

At Caesars, bettors have placed nearly the same amount of $1000-plus wagers on the Bills (77) than on the next two teams combined, the Buccaneers (49) and Chargers (32).

The Bills enter training camp as strong Super Bowl contenders thanks to their roster of stars and a solid coach. Allen’s development into one of the top quarterbacks in the league and an MVP award favorite keeps them in the conversation. The defense, which ranked No. 1 in the NFL last season, only improved with the addition of Miller and the return of White.

Buffalo’s Path to the Super Bowl

The Bills face stiff competition in the AFC and have seen a division rival renewed with offseason additions. The Miami Dolphins looked poised to push the Bills in 2022. This thanks to their new head coach and improvements throughout their offense.

That said, the Bills remain overwhelming favorites to win the AFC East this season. Both BetMGM and DraftKings list the Bills with -225 odds to win the division. Caesars (-222), FanDuel (-220), and PointsBet (-200), all favor Buffalo as well.

The Bills have won the AFC East in each of the last two seasons, unseating the New England Patriots along the way. The Dolphins are expected to be Buffalo’s main competition for a third-straight division crown, with the Patriots behind them and the New York Jets still in rebuild mode.

But to get to the Super Bowl, odds are that the Bills must face the Kansas City Chiefs. KC has ended Buffalo’s season each of the last two years. The Chiefs hold the second-shortest odds to win the AFC Championship, trailing Buffalo at most sportsbooks. BetMGM list Kansas City at +450 to win the conference

The Bills see their conference championship odds ranging between +300 and +350 depending upon the New York sportsbook. BetMGM, Caesars, and DraftKings all favor the Bills with +300 odds to get to the Super Bowl, while PointsBet lists them at +325, and FanDuel at +350.
