As the NFL pushes into the chill of December, playoff races across the league continue to heat up. All three New York teams play pivotal games in Week 13, each trying to secure postseason positioning. The G-Men hold a slim half-game lead on Washington in the NFC East standings. 

Injuries along the offensive line have short-circuited New York’s solid start to the season. Saquon Barkley has not found the same running lanes of late that were there earlier this season. Barkley managed just 39 rushing yards on Thanksgiving, and have been held to 53 yards or fewer in three of the last four games overall. He faces a Commanders defense that ranks eighth against the run, allowing just 108.5 rushing yards-per-game.

White spread the ball around to 10 different receivers, but the Jets didn’t come out of that game unscathed. New York saw running back Michael Carter sidelined to an ankle injury. 

The Jets face one of their most difficult tasks of the season when they travel to Minnesota for this one. The Vikings (9-2, 5-5-1 ATS) hold a huge lead in the NFC North and topped the Patriots on Thanksgiving, thus the Week 13 opening lines favoring them. Minnesota will have the rest advantage and home field advantage in this one. The Jets will need to get after Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins, who’s been sacked 28 times this season, to keep this one competitive.
