While the Jets get to enjoy their Bye Week following one of the franchise’s biggest wins in years, the other two teams will take the field. Both the Bills and Giants see themselves as betting favorites in the NFL Week 10 opening lines.
Some league-wide betting trends seem to have an effect on the NFL Week 10 opening lines. Underdogs maintained their dominant pace, improving to 75-56-5 (57.3 percent) against the spread so far. Buffalo, meanwhile, holds just a half-game lead in the AFC East and needs to grab a win here.
One of the reasons this line has started under a touchdown despite Buffalo being at home is the uncertainty surrounding Bills quarterback Josh Allen. Near the end of last week’s loss, Allen suffered an elbow injury on a strip sack play. Bills head coach Sean McDermott said there was no definitive news on Allen’s status as the team awaits MRI results.
Allen’s availability will have a significant effect on this line one way or the other. Should Allen miss a significant amount of time to this injury, his NFL MVP odds will continue to fade.

The Texans (1-6-1, 4-3-1 ATS) sit in last place in the AFC South and have entered each week as an underdog. That’s the case here in the NFL Week 10 opening lines, as the Texans are getting nearly a touchdown at most sportsbooks.
