Now that the preseason is over and teams have their initial 53-man rosters, it’s time to look at betting odds for NFL Win Totals for the Buffalo Bills, New York Giants, and New York Jets.

The 2022 NFL season continues to inch closer. But now that the preseason has ended and teams have set their initial 53-man rosters, bettors have a clearer outlook at the betting odds for 2022 NFL win totals. And for teams in New York state, the split remains a drastic one.

Looking at league-wide win totals ahead of the new season gives bettors a snapshot of general expectations. These figures set by the sportsbooks provides the general consensus for not only New York teams but the entire league. When zeroing in on the betting odds with these NFL win totals, there are some value spots to consider.

The NFL season opener, a primetime matchup between two Super Bowl favorites the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams, just over a week away, it’s time to look for potentially valuable betting odds for New York’s NFL win totals in 2022.

Betting 2022 NFL Win Totals: Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills stand among the Super Bowl favorites heading into 2022. And bettors see several intriguing team betting specials at FanDuel. But whether or not betting the 2022 NFL win totals is a value wager remains to be seen.

The Bills went 11-6 last season, winning the AFC East, but lost in a memorable Divisional round in Kansas City. This season, Buffalo faces a tougher schedule, including road difficult dates like the season-opening Rams game, another trip to Kansas City, at Baltimore and at Cincinnati.

The Bills see 10 games versus teams with winning records from 2021 on this year’s slate, including four teams that posted 12 or more victories.

Sportsbook Bills Win Total (Odds)
BetMGM11.5 (Over -150/Under +115)
Caesars11.5 (Over -140/Under +118)
DraftKings11.5 (Over -140/Under +120)
FanDuel11.5 (Over -135/Under +115)
PointsBet11.5 (Over -140/Under +120)

Sportsbooks feature alternate NFL win totals betting odds for Buffalo, too. One intriguing option in that regard is FanDuel’s Over 12.5 wins for the Bills with +130 odds. 13 victories might be a stretch considering their schedule, but Buffalo can likely bank at least five victories playing the AFC East. BetMGM lists the Over 12.5 wins wager for the Bills with +135 odds.

Betting 2022 NFL Win Totals: New York Giants

Most of New York’s nine online sportsbooks list the Giants with long odds for the 2022 season. New York missed the playoffs following a 4-13 campaign. Despite roster improvements and a new coaching staff, the Giants still face long futures odds across the board.

That said, the Giants remain optimistic for their 2022 outlook and beyond, hoping the new offensive-minded coaching staff can jump start performance. While the Giants offense looked good in the preseason, that remains to be seen if they can shift that success to the regular season.

Last year, the Giants won only one road game and just one NFC East matchup. The G-Men will face the eighth-toughest divisional schedule in the NFL, based on their NFC East opponents’ combined win total last season (56).

The Giants’ 2022 slate features seven games versus teams with winning records in 2021, with four of those versus teams that won 12 or more games. They do, however, have four games scheduled against teams that won five or fewer contests last year.

Sportsbook Giants Win Total (Odds)
BetMGM6.5 (Over -135/Under +115)
Caesars7.0 (Over +105/Under -125)
DraftKings7.0 (Over -110/Under -110)
FanDuel7.5 (Over +125/Under -145)
PointsBet7.5 (Over +125/Under -150)

It’s worth noting for Giants NFL win total betting odds that at least one NFL team has gone “worst-to-first,” winning its division the season after finishing last or tied for last place in 17 of the last 19 seasons. FanDuel provides an alternate win totals wager for Over 8.5 wins at +230 and Over 9.5 wins at +390.

Betting 2022 NFL Win Totals: New York Jets

Even though the Jets have suffered at least 11 losses in six of the last eight seasons, there’s a great deal of hope that 2022 will be different in New York. It’s been more than a decade since the Jets last playoff win, and considering the improvements other AFC teams made this offseason, Jets fans might be waiting longer still.

The Jets will face the eighth-hardest schedule in the NFL, based on their opponents’ projected win total this season (152). Gang Green faces the third-hardest divisional schedule this season (based on their AFC East opponents’ combined win total last year) following a second straight year where they went 0-6 in divisional matchups.

The Jets see nine teams on their schedule this season that finished with winning records in 2021, though only one of those teams had 12 or more wins last year. In 2022, New York faces only two teams that finished with five or fewer victories in 2021.

Sportsbook Jets Win Total (Odds)
Caesars5.5 (Over -150/Under +126)
DraftKings5.5 (Over -155/Under +135)
FanDuel5.5 (Over -145/Under +125)
PointsBet5.5 (Over -160/Under +125)

Although bettors see some intriguing futures odds heading into the season, the overall outlook for the Jets remains bleak. The team’s playoff drought probably continues barring an unlikely run to the postseason behind second-year quarterback Zach Wilson, who’s missed most of the preseason following a knee injury.

FanDuel lists interesting betting odds for alternate NFL win totals and the New York Jets. Should Wilson’s injury linger, the Under 4.5 wins wager looks appealing at +185 odds. For bettors bullish on the Jets odds entering 2022, a winning season wager, Over 8.5 wins, carries +340 odds at FanDuel.
